Chevron Strip-Tube: Part 2

This is where I left off with my original post -

I am happy to get back to this project.
It's such an accomplishment to complete a quilt top!

The Layout: 2 Options

The Traditional Chevron

The Radiating Chevron

The Process:
 Sew blocks into vertical strips.

 Sew vertical strips into pairs.

 Sew the pairs together.

 The blocks are sewn together.

When adding your borders the method is important.
The quilt top will have bias edges and they have to be set in properly.

Add an 8" border using this method, easing the bias edges into the border.
QUILT BORDER TUTORIAL

This finished quilt is approx. 74" x 94".

 It's Lulu's 8th birthday today :)
